The Rafts are designed to float upto 18 plants over the Aquatic Animal tank. The actual size is 12 x 24 x 1.5 inches. The plant holes are on 4 inches centers. This maximizes the growing area. Some plants grow larger than 4 inches in diameter. Therefore bridges can be added to the float to adjust the height of the plant. 6 bridges are included with each unit. Plants start growing out with a small diameter stem. The Rafts also include 18 plant Starter Wraps.
Each Foam Raft is covered with a PVC Ultraviolet Protected molded plastic cover. The molded plastic cover comes in two colors (black and White)These Rafts are durable, long lasting, and
re-useable. The Raft can hold up to 18 pounds of plants. Each raft only uses two square feet of pond space.
