How Much Does An Average Adult Person Need in a year?
The average person requires 10 times their weight in calories per day. A 150 pound person will eat 1500 calories to maintain their weight. A 200 pound person will need 2000 calories per day to maintain their weight. Based on the above calculations and a serving size of 1/2 cup or 4 ounces, the following chart provides annual needs per person.
