Old World AquaFarm™ System is a revolutionary product which allows the average family to grow their own fresh food in a controlled environment. The AquaFarm system is green technology. It provides up to ten times the growing power utilizing ten percent of the average space of a traditional garden. The AquaFarm System uses considerably less water than the traditional garden. It can operate on or off the grid. Minimal power usage is required. Research and Development is currently designing Solar and Wind power components for the Old World AquaFarm™ System. We look forward to serving you...
Food is one of the five (5) basic needs of every individual. The public is increasingly asking for food free of preservatives or pesticides. This trend, coupled with the exponential increase in commodity prices over the last ten (10) years, positions OWA very well to capture market share in the increasing demand for organically grown foods. The home version of the Aquaponics System pays for itself in the first (1st) or second (2nd) year by savings from groceries alone. Lettuce and tomatoes are the two (2) most common crops in North America, both of which are easily grown in the Aquaponics System. The OWA System is steps beyond Aquaponics and can grow many more varieties of plants.
Aquaponics is a billion dollar industry in the United States and comprises fifty-two percent (52%) of Canada’s food production. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Economic Research Service (ERS) states “Interest in aquacultural production is on the rise because restrictions on the wild harvest of many seafood species may diminish wild harvest seafood supplies. During the last two (2) decades, the value of U.S. aquacultural production rose to nearly one ($1) billion dollars.”
The Old World AquaFarm™ System will dramatically decrease the: costs, labor, and maintenance associated in food production; OWA will raise the quality of food available to the consumer.
